The Guest Relations Manager ensures the seamless operation of our lodge while providing exceptional service and support to our guests. The position encompasses elements of trip planning, sales, reporting, hosting duties, and operations management. We welcome the task of tailoring these responsibilities to

Requirements for Consideration

• 2+ Years of experience in the Outdoor and/or Hospitality industry

• 2+ Years of experience with reservations, travel planning and/or sales

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• The ability to work autonomously and without supervision

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• The willingness to relocate to Ennis, Montana (if necessary) 


Preferred Skills & Experiences

• Experience working in a fine dining establishment

• Graphic design, photography, videography and/or other digital art skills

• Social media and/or email marketing experience

• Retail inventory management experience

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of wine

• A general knowledge of the state of Montana

• A passion for fly fishing

Virginia: Full-Time Fly Fishing Guide–The Omni Homestead Resort

To work with guests to facilitate activities professionally and efficiently. Guide our guest one on one through the fishing waters of the beautiful Omni Homestead Resort.



Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
  • Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners
  • Supervises to ensure proper etiquette, technique and service delivery from all Fishing staff members.
  • Facilitate fishing trips with resort guests.
  • Facilitate fly fishing casting clinics for resort guests.
  • Maintain a basic knowledge of operations in outdoor activities, including shuttle routes.
  • Maintain the ability to check the daily schedule in Resort Suite
  • Maintain cleanliness of fishing activity areas including: trash removal and cleaning/ fueling activity vehicles.
  • Other duties and task as assigned by management


Requirements for Consideration

  • At least one (1) year of related experience in fly fishing instruction
  • The ideal candidate will have had prior experience in the same or similar role working in an upscale outdoor recreation or guest service environment
  • Candidates must be familiar with all safety regulations and procedures related to fly fishing and shooting instructor
  • Should be comfortable working with a wide range of audiences and be able to adjust style and tone accordingly

New Mexico: Fly Fishing Guide–FIsheads San Juan River Lodge

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Fly Fishing Guide to join our team at Fisheads San Juan River Lodge. As a Fly Fishing Guide, you will be responsible for leading guided fishing trips, providing instruction and assistance to clients, and ensuring that guests have a safe, enjoyable, and successful fishing experience.


Responsibilities:

Guided Fishing Trips: Lead guided fishing trips on the San Juan River, targeting trout and other species. Provide instruction on fly fishing techniques, casting, fly selection, and fish behavior.

Client Engagement: Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner. Tailor fishing experiences to meet the needs and preferences of individual guests. Ensure that clients have a memorable and enjoyable time on the water.

Safety and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on safety during guided trips. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to boating, fishing equipment, and environmental conservation.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all fishing equipment, boats, and gear are in good working condition. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent accidents and ensure a positive guest experience.

Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise and passion for fly fishing with clients. Educate guests about local fishing conditions, aquatic ecosystems, and conservation practices. Foster a deeper appreciation for the sport of fly fishing and the natural environment.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service at all times. Anticipate and address the needs of clients, exceed their expectations, and strive to create lifelong memories.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the guiding team and lodge staff to coordinate fishing trips, share insights and best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the operation.

Oregon: Hospitality position at Luxury Destination Ranch–Highland Hills Ranch

Job Title: Hospitality Team Member

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Destination Ranch outside Condon, Or. Housing provided when working.

Job Purpose: A hospitality concierge is responsible for providing the highest level of guest services to visitors of HHR. This person should be capable of making a guest feel at home while away from home, delivering memorable experiences, orchestrating exceptional guest services, and assisting with any requests that visitors might have.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests with a personalized and friendly greeting
  • Assist chef when needed
  • Provide intuitive, friendly, yet quiet dining service during family style meals
  • Tidy guest rooms & public spaces
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Knowledge in providing
recommendation and suggestions for places to visit, dine, and sightsee within the Columbia Gorge area.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest requests and preferences
  • Assist guests with luggage, check-in, check-out, and any other needs
  • Liaise with others within the HHR team including the chef, front office, ranch staff, and management



Requirements for Consideration

  • Proven experience in the hospitalityindustry, with an emphasis on guest services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the local area and attractions and or ability to learn
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours
  • Due to location of the ranch and start times, overnight stays are required unless home is within a 30 mile radius
  • Positive, friendly attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile for guests

Additional Information:

Job is primarily indoors however we do have special events outdoors and may be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The role also requires some physical activity, such as lifting up to 50lbs and carrying luggage.


Salary: $35K-$45K for 6 months of work

Position is seasonal. The lodge is open 7 days a week taking Thanksgiving off and December 15-January 3rd during the season.

Season: September- April 7th, 2024
