Orvis-Endorsed Fly-Fishing Outfitter
Enlist the services of Orvis-endorsed outfitter Channel & Brown on your fly-fishing trip to Montana. Located in the small and sleepy town of Cascade, Montana, Channel & Brown Outfitting Company L.L.C. was hatched during the Covid 19 pandemic when an opportunity arose. We are owned and operated by veteran guides and outfitters Lindsey Channel and Dave Brown, who together have a combined 50 years of experience outfitting and guiding fly-fishing trips and big game hunts. Dave and Lindsey are committed to providing their clients with authentic Montana outdoor experiences. Channel & Brown is the only Orvis-Endorsed Outfitter to call The Missouri River "home.” Our guides spend the entire season fishing the Missouri, thus are experts in the river's nuances. The Missouri River is best described as a large spring creek with an average population of 3,500 trout per mile. The insect hatches are intense, making for some great dry-fly fishing. During non-hatch or pre-hatch periods, anglers can expect to fish nymphs or streamers for productive results.
Orvis is pleased to offer our travel customers access to two valuable services: Global Rescue travel membership and IMG Signature Travel Insurance℠.

Montana's Missouri River tailwater offers visiting anglers 35 miles of excellent fly-fishing on a very scenic Montana landscape. During a fly-fishing trip on The Missouri River, anglers will take in sites used by Lewis and Clark when they traveled the Missouri River en route to the Pacific. The scenery is amazing, as The Missouri River carves through a spectacular canyon before hitting the Great Plains, and its banks teem with wildlife, including deer, beavers, bighorn sheep, and a variety of birds of prey. Channel & Brown Outfitting Company L.L.C. MT Outfitter #7886 has been operating on the Missouri River for 15 Years. We love to guide people of all experiences and work with our clients to deliver an authentic and rewarding Missouri River fly-fishing trip including the Land of The Giants.
