Locally we fish the Neuse, Tar, Eno, Haw, and Cape Fear Rivers. Great spring white bass and shad fishing. Summer provides excellent river largemouth bass fishing on topwater.
We provide float trips for trout on the Smith River tailwater and smallmouth bass trips on the Staunton and Dan Rivers.

We provide all tackle (rods and reels), flies, leaders, and tippet. We provide lunch, drinks, and snacks on full-day trips. We provide snacks and drinks on half-day trips.
Largemouth bass: 8 wt. rod; Orvis Bass, Power Taper Fly Line.
White bass: 4 wt. rod; Power Taper, Hydros Class V Sink Tip Fly Line.
American shad: 5 or 6 wt. rod: Hydros Class V Sink Tip, Hydros HD Depth Charge Fly Line.
Trout: Nymphs and dry flies; 3 or 4 wt. rod, Hydros HD Trout, Hydros HD Easy Mend. Trout (Streamer) Fly Line; 5 or 6 wt. rod; Hydros Class V Sink Tip, Hydros HD Depth Charge Fly Line.
Striped bass: 8 or 9 wt. rod; Hydros HD Depth Charge, Power Taper Fly Line.
Wading trips with waders, studs, and wading staff in late fall, winter, and early spring. Wet wading in late spring, summer, and early fall.
Spring: Striped bass, shad, white bass, smallmouth bass, tailwater trout.
Summer: Largemouth tass, smallmouth bass, longnose gar.
Fall: Largemouth bass, tailwater trout.
Winter: Striped bass, largemouth bass, white bass, tailwater trout
All of our river levels fluctuate depending on discharge from rainfall, runoff, and release schedules. We float tailwaters that generate on a release schedule coming out of the dam.
