Our Orvis fly shop sits in the middle of our restaurant, The Back Cast Café, and has everything you need to fish this famous tail water.
Our most common trip is three nights of lodging with two days of fishing. A typical day of fishing starts with breakfast in the Back Cast Café. You then head to the river with your guide and fish for the day. Then back to the lodge to tell lies over dinner.
Fishead's provides everything you need on our fishing trips other than waders which we rent for $20 a day and your fishing license which is $17 for one day.
Appropriate clothing and a hat, sunscreen, polarized glasses and a camera.
The San Juan River fishes good year around, the water temperature is the same all seasons. Navajo Lake is seasonal, April thru October.
