Bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, rain jacket, waders, and wading boots during cooler seasons when wading. During late spring and summer, wet wading may be preferable (quick dry shorts and wading sandals or boots).

Rouse Fly Fishing is open year-round. Fishing is ideal from April through November, with the peak river season being January through December.
